Rosemary champions sustainable development - economic, social and environmental and was recognised as a West Midlands Green Leader in 2011. She was formerly the Built Environment Policy Manager with Advantage West Midlands and Sustainability Advisor to Birmingham City Council on the Eastside quarter redevelopment proposals. Rosemary is project manger for the Accord ERDF Sustainable Retrofit and Smart Grids project, leading on business support. Rosemary also runs her own consultancy and currently acts as the Co-Ordinator for the Sustainable Housing Action Partnership (SHAP). Rosemary is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham, School of Civil Engineering, investigating sustainable urban futures and a fellow of CoRE (the national Centre for Refurbishment Excellence).
