Lighthouse links talk follow up
It was lovely to see the amount of people who turned up to out lighthouse talks, the talk in the Morning at the Smethwick Library was fully booked! So many people were interested in discovering the history of lighthouses and how they operate, the life of the lighthouse keeper and its enduring presence on the coast line.
Nita Newman shared MADE's story so far about the Chance Brother lighthouse links project in the enthralling talk at Smethwick Library and Durga Bawan hindu temple with Mark Lewis we discover the history of the lighthouse, how they operate, the life of the lighthouse keeper and its enduring presence on the coastline. Mark is a founder member of the World Lighthouse Society and a long standing member of the Association of Lighthouse Keepers.
The talks were a part of a series of events organised by MADE and is part of a project entitled Everybody’s Story.
