A residential development of 90 dwellings on land East of Southam Road, Kineton.

A residential development of 90 dwellings was subjected to Design Review in December 2012. The panel largely supported the proposal on land east of Southam Road, adjacent to the Area Boundary of Kineton. The application also includes up to 1400m2 of commercial floorspace, and incorporates public open space. The panel recommended that pedestrian access to the village should be improved. It was suggested that it would be desirable to include the residents in the design of the open space at the centre of the development. In addition, the developer may want to take the opportunity to put a feature on the adjacent roundabout to provide a distinguished entrance to the village.
